Beth’s involvement with Tuesday’s Children is deeply personal. Immediately after 9/11, she worked in a social work capacity to support families who lost a loved one during the attacks. Eight years later, Beth’s fiance, CPT Benjamin Skalver, was killed in the Afghanistan war, which began after 9/11.Tuesday’s Children “provides a lifetime of healing for families forever changed by terrorism, military conflict or mass violence”.

Beth lead support groups and retreats for the Tuesdays Children community , including military families and families affected by 9/11. Some of these support groups included:: support during the pandemic for Military children, Military spouses, 9/11 young adults, 9/11 spouses, Life School 360 for 9/11 young adults and Life School 360 for parents of young adults and an 3 year support group and in person retreat for the 9/11 children who are now young adults.
