Holding onto the Magic of Summer

Updated: Aug 12

Sleepaway camp lets kids be their truest selves-building friendships, unplugging, and finding a sense of belonging that’s hard to match. Coming home can be a big adjustment, and it’s easy for that camp magic to slip away.In these small group sessions, kids will learn a specific tool to help them “anchor in” the positive feelings and experiences they found at camp. Think of it like installing a special app on a computer- like an internal resource they can always access. Even when school, social media, friend (or family) drama, or daily pressures and expectations make it hard to remember, they’ll know how to tap back into that part of themselves and find their spark from within. Through mindfulness, movement, and creative activities, they’ll practice reconnecting to that inner sense of joy, confidence, and belonging—so it stays with them throughout the year, no

matter where they are. Each session is warm, experiential, and designed so every child feels seen, supported, and resilient.

Perfect for kids—and even counselors—returning from sleepaway camp, these groups offer a bridge from summer’s freedom back to daily life.

Available as a two-session series and can be offered throughout the year.
